This past weekend I had the opportunity to give a talk on creating great user experiences. The talk goes over what exactly the components are of great experiences, how experiences are represented by feelings and finally how we can work our way to creating our own great user experiences.

Check out my slides:

Loved the slides. My favorite was the “developers and designers are lazy” with the cat. All in all though very engaging… gave me a few ideas about setting up some new processes of evaluation within my company I own.

Thanks David! I’m working on the presentation a bit and think I’ll change up a few things the next time I give the talk. Most likely, I’ll have a bit more interactive pieces. One of the primary things people requested was that I show off a big more of those “mind-blowing” experiences and give a more in-depth look at the tools to achieving those.

Things that I’ll provide insights into are story boarding and processes that I’ve taken to ensure that we’re detailing each aspect of the experience.

I’ll also, hopefully, get the next talk recorded to throw up online.

    Cheers!
